Fun Stuff

23 07 2008

Here’s that something fun I promised I’d be back with. It’s an invitation and it’s for you if you live in the Perth Metro area.

On Saturday 6th of September I’m hosting a card buffet and I want you to come along and make some cards. What is a card buffet? I will have card kits made up with instructions showing you how to make each card and you can make as many or as few as you like at $3 per card. You will get the chance to stamp, eat and be merry. Afternoon tea and refreshments will be provided.

Entry Fee: $5     Time: 10am til 3pm    Place: TBA     Card Costs: 1st card is free and $3 each thereafter.

Why the $5 entry fee? To help cover costs such as tea, coffee, biscuits etc… this however will be taken off of your order if you spend $50 or more on the day. This may also be used to cover venue costs depending on numbers.

Contact me today to book your spot and ensure you don’t miss out! Phone: 9295 3325 or 0406 057 751 Email: hljdbns@bigpond.com

Monday

22 07 2008

I know I was supposed to start scheduled blogging yesterday, but yesterday my house was a mad house. I had two grumpy, cranky, fairly uncooperative kids as well as a house that looked like someone had let off a nuclear bomb inside! Oh well that’s life for ya, especially just after your baby has turned 1!

Back soon to share fun stuff!!

Hello!

18 07 2008

Hi friends, I have just a couple more updates for you. The July Chipboard & More tutorial is fully completed and ready to send. I finally managed to find a way that you can securely pay by paypal, if you go to the Tutorial of the Month page you can click on a blue highlighted, underlined paypal word and it’ll take you to the sign-in and payment pages.

I have taken all the pictures needed for the how to assemble die-cut stamps mini tutorial that should go up on the Spring mini page in the next few days.

Congratulations to Joan, who won the Monday Madness give-away and will be recieving a package of spring mini goodies from me soon.

AND last but not least I have decided that I won’t be catching up on my missed weekly blog features as I just don’t have time to do that with all the other commitments I have on. That doesn’t mean they will be disappearing though, essentially I am wiping the slate clean and will start these features fresh next monday the 21st of July.

Til then happy stamping and I hope you enjoy the tutorial if you decide to purchase it!

Lookie here what I have!!

17 07 2008

Yeah I know you’re thinking it’s just a box lady!! But look at what was inside the box!

Ohh now you’re thinking I haven’t seen some of this stuff before, where’d you get it?? It’s all from Stampin’ Up! and most of it will be appearing in the Spring mini catalogue, yep this is my pre-order (with a couple of bits & pieces from the main catty thrown in)

See those die-cut stamp sets? Be on the look out for a mini step by step photo tutorial showing how easy it is to mount those sets. You’ll beable to find it on the Spring Mini page.

UPDATE: Today I will be putting the last of the tutorial together, however I will put the paypal button up and more info soon on the Tutorial of the Month page.

More of an update!

14 07 2008

Hi All,

I have come down with this flu my son has at the moment we are both doing ok but it means that I’m still behind on everything. I’m working hard to get everything back on track and I’ll also be working on current deadlines as well as catching up on those missed deadlines I’ve set for myself. This months tutorial is a little over half done and I expect it to be released no later than friday so keep checking that page for updates. I’m just saying frieday in case something else goes wrong this week!! however if all goes well I should be back on track before then. I will also be catching up on the weekly blog features that I’ve missed so stay tuned!!

Just a little update.

11 07 2008

I had a plan for everything this week and when projects would be finished, announced and posted on the blog etc… but with my little boy having come down sick that plan went out the window. That means that my first tutorial of the month will not be released today. However I am working very diligently to ensure that I will be back on track by the time this weekend is over and all will run smoothly next week. Thank you all very much for your patience and don’t forget to sign up for my newsletter to be in with a chance to win some blog candy!

Friendsday Wednesday!

9 07 2008

Unfortunately it’s had to be a little postponed due to my baby boy coming down with the flu and feeling miserable and just wanting to be cuddled. Did I make a card for a friend? Yes, I did finally manage to make a card tonight after getting my little guy off to bed but haven’t taken a pic yet so will upload tomorrow!
